Jordan Walker (21), a special rookie of the Major League (MLB) St. Louis Cardinals, recorded hits in 9 consecutive games in his debut. wrote a record. 

Walker started on the 10th (Korean time) as the 5th hitter and center fielder in an away game against the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2023 MLB regular season held at America Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. In the beginning of the 4th inning, when the team was losing 0-2, he took his second at-bat with 1 out and 1st and 2nd base. The speed of this batted ball was 174.3 km (108.3 miles per hour). Walker’s 8th RBI of the season also came out.

Walker is expected to be the ‘second Pujols’. He was recognized for his potential enough to be ranked as the 3rd ranked league prospect by the MLB Pipeline. He hit two homers in one game in the exhibition game this spring camp, and left an amazing record for both distance and exit speed, and Pujols was recalled. Usually, prospects are often called up in September when extended entry is applied for service time reasons, but St. Louis immediately put Walker in the opening entry with a sense of power. 

Walker recorded a batting average of 0.353, 2 homers, 8 RBIs, and an OPS (sum of on-base percentage and slugging percentage) of 0.933 in the 9 games she played until the match against Milwaukee on the 10th.
