The ‘Asian Motorsports Carnival’ will be held at the Korea International Circuit (KIC) in Yeongam, Jeollanam-do on June 4 with a super race.

The international event, which began in 2014 with the goal of exchanging Asian motorsports cultures, will feature the largest motorsports competition in Korea, the 2023 CJ Logistics Super Race Championship (Super 6000 Class, GT Class, M Class, and Sports Prototype Cup Korea), as well as the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and the Kawasaki Ninja Cup, a motorcycle competition.

First of all, the third round of the Super 6000 class will be the only pit stop race of the season. With approximately 60 kilometers more mileage than in previous years, mid-race refueling is a must, and tire changes late in the race are a strategic factor that can make the difference between victory and defeat. The role of team crews will be crucial, and the championship points awarded to drivers and teams will be expanded for this pit stop race, with the winner earning up to five extra points. This could be the decisive factor in the race for the championship.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia is a one-make competition for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (3996㏄, 510 hp) cars that tours the Asian region. It kicked off last month at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia and will be part of the ‘Asian Motorsport Carnival’ with rounds three and four on June 3 and 4 at the Yeongam KIC, respectively. The event will feature 21 drivers from six countries, including China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and New Zealand.토토사이트

The Kawasaki Ninja Cup will be contested on identical race bikes. Japanese rider Hiroki Ono will be among the 21 riders in the field. Hiroki Ono is an accomplished rider who was the overall champion of the 2021 and 2022 seasons in the J-GP3 class of the All Japan Road Race Championship.

Grandstands will be open for the third round of the SuperRace Championship, which will be held as part of the Asian Motorsports Carnival, only on the 4th. Tickets can be booked through Naver Reservation and can also be purchased on-site on the day of the event. Digital coverage will be available on the official SuperRace YouTube channel, NAVER Sports, and Facebook, and live TV coverage will be available on host broadcaster Channel A from 1:50 p.m. on the 4th.
