It seems that manager Mauricio Pochettino will take the helm of Chelsea in the English Premier League (EPL).

Almost everyone in England is reporting that Pochettino and Chelsea have reached an agreement and that an official announcement will be made soon. After resigning from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in 2022, manager Pochettino is expected to take on a new challenge again in the EPL.

Accordingly, the news is that Chelsea are preparing something great as a ‘welcome gift’ for manager Pochettino.

England’s ‘Daily Mail’ reported that “Chelsea will officially announce the appointment of Pochettino within a few days. And he has already started working on Chelsea’s transfer player.”

The media added, “Coach Pochettino wants big name players.” It is highly likely that Chelsea, which is pouring huge amounts of money into signing players even under the Todd Boelli system, will grant manager Pochettino’s wishes.

The media has revealed three big names that Pochettino wants. They are Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan), Declan Rice (West Ham) and Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa).

The most eye-catching of the two is, of course, Rice. He is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. It is so popular that it is safe to say that most of the EPL powerhouses are aiming to recruit Rice. Manchester United and Arsenal are salivating for Rice, who is also a member of the England national team.토토사이트

The higher the competition, the higher the price. Local media predict that if Rice transfers, it will record the highest transfer fee ever in the EPL.

The previous highest transfer fee was 106.8 million pounds (178.6 billion won), recorded when Chelsea signed Enzo Martinez in the transfer market last winter. Currently, Rice’s ransom is 120 million pounds (200.7 billion won). If successful, it will be the first ever in the EPL.

Chelsea willingly spent the number one transfer fee ever on Fernandes. Will they spend another top transfer half a year later for Pochettino?
