Japan scores a big win over El Salvador.
Japan defeated El Salvador 6-0 in a friendly match at Toyota Stadium in Aichi, Japan, at 7:10 p.m. on Sept. 15.
Japan started Mitoma, Ueda, Kubo, Hatate, Morita, Doan, Morishita, Taniguchi, Itakura, Sugawara, and Osako.
El Salvador countered with Enriquez, Hill, Reyes, Landaverde, Orellana, Perez, Roldan, Rodriguez, Sabaleta, Tamacas, and Gonzalez.

Japan dominated the second half. Japan added one more goal in the 15th minute of the second half when Nakamura scored off a pass from Kubo. It was 5-0, and El Salvador was unable to fight back.
