Gyeongdong High School defeated Geoje BC 11-4 in the second game of the 51st Bonghwangdae National High School Baseball Tournament at Mokdong Baseball Stadium in Seoul, South Korea, on Friday, advancing to the round of 32.
Kyungdongo got off to a slow start. In the top of the first inning, starting pitcher Ahn Min-jae gave up a big four-run inning to Geoje BC without recording a single out.
However, in the top of the second inning, Kyungdongo bounced back and took advantage of Geoje BC starter Kim Do-hyung’s struggles with his pitches, capitalizing on four wild pitches, two singles, and an error to quickly tie the game at 4-4. After gaining momentum, Kyungdongo scored three runs in the top of the third inning by combining two hits, two wild pitches, and three opponent errors to take a 7-4 lead.
After adding another run in the fourth and fifth innings to make it 9-4, Kyungdongo completed the scoring in the top of the seventh inning when Yoo Byung-sun singled to right field with runners on second and third to make it 11-4 and the cold game win. Sidearm pitcher Yoon Han-sun, who came on in the bottom of the first inning, held Geoje BC’s bats to six scattered hits until the seventh inning to seal the win.메이저사이트
