Kim Si-woo (28, CJ Logistics), who is about to participate in the PGA Tour Wells Fargo Championship (total prize money of 20 million dollars), threw a ticket.

On the 5th (hereinafter Korean time), the Wells Fargo Championship (total prize money of 20 million dollars) will be held at Quail Harlow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.

The PGA Tour has designated this tournament as a special tournament starting this year and has more than doubled the total prize money from last year’s $9 million.

The tournament has always been held at the Quail Harlow Club, but last year it was moved to TPC Potomac at Arvernell Farm in Maryland, USA due to the Presidents Cup schedule held in September. This year, he returned to the Quail Harlow Club.

Kim Si-woo, who won the Sony Open in January of last year, has never been in the top 10 since then, but changed the mood by tying for 7th at the Zurich Classic, where he paired up with Kim Joo-hyung (21, Nike) last month.

Kim Si-woo, who also participated in last year’s Presidents Cup as a representative of the United World Team, is aiming for the second victory of the season on a familiar course.ㅋㅋㅋ벳

In an interview with the PGA Tour held one day before the tournament, Kim Si-woo recalled, “It was fun to play with prominent players in the top 10 here last year. Especially, it was more fun to be on the same team as Korean players.” .

“Last month at the Zurich Classic, Kim Joo-hyung did well, so I was able to enjoy it too. I tried to play more aggressively, but it seems to have worked out well,” he said.

When asked about his determination for the rest of the season, Kim Si-woo emphasized, “I want to win many tournaments, but I want to be in the top 30 and participate in the Tour Championship. I also want to win all the tickets for next year’s major tournaments.”
