Kyrie Irving (30, Dallas Mavericks) clearly revealed his relationship with Kevin Durant (34, Brooklyn Nets).

Irving answered how he felt about Durant at a press conference held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, USA on the morning of the 8th (Korean time).

Irving said, “We got together around 2018-19 and talked about which team we wanted to go together and set goals together.”

Irving and Durant joined Brooklyn together in the 2019 offseason. And the two worked together in earnest from the 20-21 season, when Durant was freed from an Achilles tendon injury. Here, James Harden was acquired through a trade with the goal of winning.

However, Irving suddenly disappeared and was unable to go to the stadium for half the season due to non-vaccination for Corona 19, causing friction with Harden, who was eager to win. Harden, fed up with Irving, left Brooklyn.

Accordingly, Irving and Durant pressed Brooklyn with a strong move of requesting a trade this offseason, but contrary to their expectations, the market was cold. Then, the two started this season in Brooklyn. 안전놀이터

About halfway through the season, Irving requested a trade from the front side of the Brooklyn club on the 4th. And Brooklyn succeeded in reaching a trade agreement with Dallas two days after Irving requested a trade. This led Irving to leave Brooklyn and join Dallas, and the two went their separate ways.

Meanwhile, Irving also shared his feelings about joining Dallas.

“I had no idea that Dallas would be interested in me,” Irving said. In addition, Irving revealed that he wanted to focus on the present rather than talking about the future, saying, “I will not rush to extend my contract with Dallas, and I will focus on the season.”
