Gimcheon Sangmu’s Kim Jun-hong and Lee Young-joon, who played in the U-20 World Cup and helped the team reach the quarterfinals, donated authentic goalkeeper gloves and soccer shoes.
Gimcheon will play a home match against Cheonan City FC in the 18th round of the Hana OneQ K League 2 2023 at 8 p.m. on the 24th at Gimcheon Sports Complex. Ahead of the home game, Gimcheon goalkeeper Kim Jun-hong and striker Lee Young-joon, who played a key role in Gimcheon Sangmu’s U-20 World Cup quarterfinal run, donated their favorite items for the fans.
Kim donated the goalkeeping gloves he wore against Italy at the U-20 World Cup, and Lee donated the soccer shoes he wore when he scored against France at the U-20 World Cup. Both players will be presenting their memorabilia to fans at an off-field event at Gimcheon Sangmu’s home game on the 24th.
Kim played in all but one match at the U-20 World Cup, against the Gambia in the group stage, helping the national team reach the quarterfinals. Lee scored two goals in all of his appearances.
“Thanks to the fans’ support, we were able to achieve good results at the U-20 World Cup,” said Kim. I am very grateful to the fans for their support. I will do my best to show my best in Gimcheon Sangmu as well.”토토사이트
