A starting pitcher couldn’t have asked for a more grateful “lady in the house.

Park Dong-won hit a two-run home run in the top of the eighth inning against the Kiwoom Heroes at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on July 7.

LG’s starting pitcher that day was Adam Plutko. Prior to this day, Plutko had been undefeated in 11 games with eight wins and a 1.88 ERA.

His first loss seemed to be looming, as he struggled, giving up three hits, including a home run to Lee Jung-hoo alone, and three runs in six innings.

Plutko left the game in the bottom of the seventh inning with a 1-3 record.

Plutko’s loss was erased by Park Dong-won.

In the top of the eighth, LG scored two runs after Austin Dean doubled off Kiwoom Won Jong-hyun. Park then took a 146-kilometer-per-hour fastball from Won Jong-hyun that was a little too high up the middle, and the ball went over the left field fence.토토사이트

It was Park’s 14th home run of the season. Park maintained his home run lead.

LG tied the game at 3-3, and Plutko’s loss went with it.
