After the game, some Jeonbuk fans rushed to the front gate of the Jeonju World Cup Stadium and blocked the club’s bus. Manager Kim Sang-sik and the coaching staff got on the staff bus first, followed by the players on the team bus in the back.

The bus coach Kim rode did not move. The standoff continued for another 30 minutes. In the end, coach Kim and the coaching staff got off for a while and faced the fans before getting back on the bus.

Director Kim said, “I’m sorry that I didn’t meet my expectations. I’m very sorry for making you wait until late. I can’t answer right away, but I will act responsibly as a Jeonbuk coach.”

Fans protested that they had run away after losing 0-2 in the last Daegu away game, but coach Kim explained, “I had a personal vehicle. After that, I went home to Busan.”

In response to a fan’s cry, “If you truly love Jeonbuk, I hope you will think about (resigning) at least once,” coach Kim said, “As a manager, I always respect the fans and the players respect the fans,” but the fans still won’t like it. did not stop

Coach Kim said, “I’m sorry I couldn’t show you a good picture, and please believe that it will get better.”

Then, a fan asked, “Have you ever properly communicated with your fans?” and coach Kim replied, “(After coming to Jeonbuk) I have never run away once in 15 years.”

Despite the cry to take responsibility for the sluggish performance with one win in five games, coach Kim said, “I can’t say I’m responsible here, but I’ll try to show a responsible image in the future.”

Fans demanded more specific responsibilities, and continued demands for resignation rained down.

Fans demanded that they continue to be respected, and director Kim retorted, “I respect you.”

When Director Kim finished the conversation and was about to board the bus, the fans again demanded responsible behavior, and Director Kim once again replied, “I will take responsibility,” and got on the bus.

The two-hour confrontation between the Jeonbuk club’s bus and the fans finally came to an end, but some fans could not stand it and threw 20 wrapped water bottles at the bus to vent their anger.
