By Hanam Jik Han = Choi Ji-Man, 32, of the Pittsburgh Pirates, is back in the big leagues after shaking off an Achilles tendon injury.
Choi will start in the No. 5 spot in the lineup for the Pittsburgh Pirates’ 2023 Major League Baseball visit to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, on Monday (April 8).
It will be Choi’s first big league appearance in 85 days since April 14 against the St. Louis Cardinals.
After suffering a left Achilles tendon injury early in the season, Choi has been getting reps in the minors since June 23.
After batting .323 (10-for-31) with three home runs and nine RBIs in nine games at Double-A and Triple-A, Choi returned to the big leagues just before the end of the first half (July 10).바카라사이트
This season, Choi is batting .125 (4-for-32) with two home runs and two RBIs in nine games.
On the same day, Pittsburgh placed Andrew McCutchen and Keebrian Hayes on the disabled list.
